Monday 3-14-2011

Today I will be on in the afternoon until 6ish, then I have a meeting and fraternity stuff until 10ish and then I will be on for the night to battle my internet connection. Should be able to get some games in.

Hoping the woman lets me off the leash for some game time tonight. Should be on around 9ish. I saw that Mouthfulla is off tonight so we may have some of you guys with us? I'm sick of playing with a CPU D-Man, would be nice to have a partner back there for a bit to cover my ass when I make a stupid decision. Also as a heads up I'm going away on vacation starting Saturday morning so I think I'm going to miss the playoffs unfortunatley...

So we got 5 games in tonight. We were able to play some 5's and 4's with some newer members that J, steve, and tom know. We went 3-2 on the night with both loses coming by 1 goal. We are 6-3-1 in our last 10 and are starting to play some good hockey but need to string more W's together. We have 12 days left before playoffs and I would like to see a nice run get started and then shift the focus on next months season. I like the ammount of games we have played but would like to see our record keep up with mouthfulla. We can't let them think the are the A squad! This is only going to happen if we work on our system and get a consistent group of 5 guys that play great together on a regular basis with the others ready to step in at any moment. As of right now we are ranked 115th in the Pro division, lets get the kinks worked out now so come next month we are a well oiled machine. Let me know what everybody is thinking up to this point. See everybody tomorrow night I am sure!

Had a lot of fun playing last night. We had some very good rotation going the whole night. Petey and Milkman did a nice job on the points as Irish, my self, and Trojans worked well together up front. It's not confirmed yet, but there may be a few more guys (Trojans, Amheft) defecting from the Outcasts and coming over into The Peter Orginization. They have voiced that they are unhappy at times over there and just want to have fun. We will see what the future brings, but having those guys in addition to the lineups we already have will make for a pretty powerful force. Stayed tuned for more developments.

It was so good playing D with a human LD, it's been pretty rare for me. Good flow to our games last night I thought. How about that one game where we had 12 minutes of ice time in the other teams zone?

Yeah.....No. I don't think those guys are sticking around, it looks like they may have created their own team. So we need to find 1 more d-man that is an active player and we should be good. Then it's time to focus on strategy and playing within the system.
